The Grounds for this Indictment are: On the Evening of October 6th 2022, I had my first interaction with David Ekin. He had arrived to Power Autos with a hostage saying that he should not be allowed to be on the streets as he is a convicted violent felon. He also stated that he was a murder and that he was trying to make a point with having a hostage. He was given free passage to the vehicle for the safe return of the hostage. He was then chased after leaving power. This individual called me today October 7th,2022 talking about at around 8pm EST he took a locals life and that around 9PM EST he was going to take another one. I had advised him not to do it but he said he was doing it to prove a point. I clocked on duty around 8:30PM EST and then informed LT levi Scott of LSPD what was happening as well as 526 Fred Jackson. Eventually 302,317, 633 all became aware of the situation that was currently happening. David kept sending me clues to each person he made a victim. These clues would be in a 3 sequence and would lead to the place of the individual downed. When we 302 and 316 arrived to the last place where I was given Clues there was a male in a black hoodie on a bike, behind city hall. There was a female local downed and he also stabbed 302 and 317. He was then tazed and handcuffed and got treated with medical. He was transported to MRPD for Processing. He seemed very happy to be going back to BoilingBroke where he said thats his home and where he should have been this whole time. I Charged him with four counts of 1st degree murder and one count of attempted murder on a gov. Employee. He of course Plead Guilty to these charges.
